Tanzania becomes the 27th country in the world to establish and launch a stop tb partnership chapter, a promising initiative towards enhancing accountability for ending tb in Tanzania.

Tanzania finally launched a Stop TB Partnership chapter on September 11, 2021. The launch event was held at Nanenane grounds in Dodoma with over 200 attendees from public sector, private sector, civil society organizations, non-government organizations, informal sector, Development Partners, TB survivors and media houses.   Along the launch of the Stop TB partnership, a four years strategic plan for Stop TB partnership (2021-2024) was also launched, creating sustainable grounds for TB program implementation and accountability for the same. Also, feedback from religious leaders’ declarations signed in November 2019, introducing the Parliamentary TB caucus members and Stop TB Partnership first Board.
